21 Aug 2011What was it you were looking for? Mopar Dodge Parts or Toyota Parts you say? Well put down the yellow pages they dropped off the other day and let your fingers do the walking with your mouse right to the online stores that will have everything you need. No, there’s no need to get up, your order can be at your door tomorrow. Convenience is one of the three top things that a consumer demands and you just saw an example of convenience. In the online retail industry convenience always comes with the other two top things a consumer looks for when they shop; price and service. Put all these together and you see why the online retail sales are increasing each quarter. No, this is not just a trend in the US. After all we are in a global economy and you can thank technology for that. Countries around the world are contributing big numbers to the online retail sales industry and those too are growing each quarter.
The increase in the sales numbers are two-fold. First, you have those who have finally accepted that the technology can be trusted and maybe bought their first item online. Secondly, you have the new entry into the marketplace. It’s probably someone who did not have access to the internet before and is ready to do some online transactions. There is also the new entry of the consumer who has had a Smartphone or I-phone and just became aware if its capabilities. These are the people who are driving up the numbers. Spending increases with existing users each quarter but new entries are driving the numbers up. The new entries into the marketplace usually come from outside the US as some countries and regions make the internet available to more and more people. China is a big driving force for new entries into the marketplace.
Some countries are lagging behind but the sales numbers are still increasing. Now with the entry of m-Commerce into the picture there is even more potential for online sales, marketing and advertising. Germany lags a little bit behind in this category because consumers seem to prefer debit and credit cards to make payments. What they don’t realize is that the same technology that the stores use is the same technology available on their Smartphone to make payments. It’s a matter of trust and when that hurdle is gone the sky is the limit.
We have come a long way from when we got in the car and drove to the mall and spent hours looking through stores to find something we liked. Now you can save time and money online by strolling through the virtual mall and finding what you want in minutes versus hours. When you buy clothing you can even try it on through a virtual program that shows you how it would fit. You can even get your friends on your favorite social network to take a look and tell you what you they think.

12 Jul 2011Shopping for a used car can be a difficult process. However, there are some things to keep in mind that will make it easier.
First, always have the car checked out by a mechanic before you buy it. They will be able to find problems the seller didn’t tell you about.
Second, always get a second opinion on the price. Always make sure you’re buying the car for what it’s worth, no what the seller wants.
By doing these things, you’re sure to get a great deal on a used car.

1 Jul 2011Well I would say that you should hire somebody is a chicken suit IF your business has some tie to chicken. If you are a consulting firm, I would say not. Having a sign on the street corner is good but only if you don’t lose your professional credibility while doing it.
